JARLSBERG    £1.70 per 100gm

Popular all purpose cheese but often eaten as a breakfast cheese. Similar texture as Swiss emmental but slightly sweeter and less nutty.



S P A N I S H


MANCHEGO  (S)    £2.35 per 100gm

A fully matured hard cheese from the famous cheese making area of La Mancha. This cheese is matured for a minimum of 6-9 months and is suitable for cooking, grating or eating as it is. Often eaten with ‘Membrillo’ quince jelly.


MURCIA AL VINO  (G)    £2.95 per 100gm

Hard goat’s milk cheese with a creamy smooth texture. After maturing the cheese is soaked in red wine which imparts a very subtle flavour.


VALDEON PICOS BLUE   (Cows + G)    £2.70 per 100gm

Made in small batches in the mountains of ‘Picos de Europa’ it is a blue cheese of

unparalleled smoothness and character . The cheese is wrapped in maple leaves

and is probably the strongest blue cheese we stock.

Black waxed 18 month matured gouda. Hard texture with an occasional salty crunch. Excellent depth of flavour yet remains sweat and creamy.
